3. Access the turntable motor, usually found underneath the microwave or behind a removable panel, after ensuring the appliance is still unplugged. With a multimeter set to measure resistance (Ohms), touch the probes to the motor's terminals; a reading of around 5-20 kOhms indicates it might be working, but an open circuit (no reading) suggests it's faulty.
