Avoid using tap water unless your iron explicitly states it's suitable, as mineral deposits can build up and cause issues. After refilling, check the water level again against the 'MAX' line to confirm it's not overfilled.
3. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning the soleplate. Gently wipe the soleplate with a clean, damp cloth, removing any residue or mineral deposits that might be blocking steam vents and causing water to back up.
