2. Carefully inspect the entire length of the door seal (gasket) that runs around the opening of the dishwasher tub for any visible cracks, tears, or signs of wear. Pay close attention to corners and the bottom edge, as these areas are often subjected to more stress.
3. Using a clean, damp cloth, thoroughly wipe down the door seal to remove any trapped food debris, grease, or limescale that might be preventing a tight seal. Check that the seal is free from obstructions and feels smooth and pliable all the way around.
4. Close the dishwasher door firmly and check for any gaps or unevenness around the seal, especially when viewed from inside the machine. The door should latch securely with an even pressure against the seal along its entire perimeter.
